hikari shimoda's precious little freaks are at once repulsive and adorable. i am captivated, yet mildly uncomfortable. you can see more of this japanese artist's paintings here (via phantasmaphile, which you should also check out).
I have seen a book with the Artist painting's in them. I feel the same way as your comments, but I forgot about him. I think i'll go buy that book soon:)
